Selection Process: The selection based on GATE 2017 Score. The candidates should apply and appear GATE 2017 Exam in appropriate Papers (CS / EC / EE / IN). The GATE 2017 online registration close on 4th October 2016.

Eligible Diploma or Graduate Engineers (Indian Nationals Only) apply online from 10th July 2016 and registration close on 10th August 2016.

Essential Educational Qualifications:
(1) 03 Years Engineering Diploma / Engineering Graduate (B.Tech / B.E. in any of the following disciplines:- Telecommunications / Electronic / Electrical / Radio / Computer / Instrumentation / Information Technology from a Central Govt./ State Govt. recognized Institution [OR]
(2) B.Sc. (Electronics) / B.Sc. (Computer Science) from a recognized University [OR]

(3) Post Graduate M.Sc. in Electronics from a recognized University.

Selection Process: The mode of selection is through an All India Online Competitive Examination. The exam may be conducted in multiple session depending up on the number of candidates. The Online test consist of a single paper of 03 Hours duration (per session in case of multiple sessions) having objective type multiple choice questions, which is to be conducted through online examination mode.

Scheme of examination:  The pattern of the question paper will be multiple choice objective types with negative marking. All candidates will undergo a common multiple-choice type examination of three hours duration (10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M ) consisting of the following three parts:-

Minimum Qualifying Standards: The minimum qualifying marks for each of the above three parts of the question paper will be 30% for candidates belonging to OC category and 20% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category. Further, the minimum qualifying marks in aggregate will be 40% for candidates belonging to OC category and 33% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category. Candidates obtaining less than minimum-qualifying marks in any of the three parts as well as in aggregate shall not be considered for inclusion in the merit-list.

Exam Fee: The prescribed examination fee of ₹ 1000/- for OC/OBC candidates and ₹ 500/- for SC/ST candidates shall be paid through online payment mode (using Internet Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card etc.).

How to Apply: Eligible Indian Nationals Apply Online through BSNL External Exam Online Portal. The Online online registration process which is to start from 10/07/2016 and will be closed on  

10/08/2016 (Wednesday) up to 11:59 PM. The last date for submission of online payment application fee extended. The Payment Option for already registered candidates has been extended upto 13/08/2016 at midnight.
